Purpose of the Seminar
The aim is to create awareness and inform the consumers and professionals in the internal market of the beneficial properties of Mediterranean diet and specifically of wine in human health.
The healthful benefits and nutritive properties of wine and Mediterranean diet are widely recognized. Past and recent scientific research unveils the disease-prevention secrets of a number of compounds in red wine that seems to improve health.
An unprecedented volume of scientific writing was dedicated to the health benefits linked with moderate wine consumption. In accordance to recently published research, the breadth of benefits is remarkable; cancer prevention, protection of the heart and brain from damage, reducing age-related diseases, such as inflammation, reversing diabetes and obesity, and many more.
